CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser 236ml for oily skin | DAZRO UAE
Vitamin B3

Niacinamide

Niacinamide is the all-rounder most routines are missing. It helps control oil, makes pores look smaller, calms redness and slowly fades the marks breakouts leave behind. It is gentle enough to use morning and night.

  • Oily skin
  • Large pores
  • Post-acne marks
  • Uneven tone
How to use
Use 2 to 5 percent daily after cleansing. 10 percent works for oily skin, but start slowly if yours is sensitive.
Mixing
Pairs well with hyaluronic acid, retinol and sunscreen. Fine with vitamin C, despite the old myth.

CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser 236ml for oily skin | DAZRO UAE
Hydration magnet

Hyaluronic acid

Hyaluronic acid pulls water into the top layers of skin, so it looks plumper and feels less tight. In air-conditioned rooms it works best on damp skin with a moisturiser on top to keep the water in.

  • Dehydrated skin
  • Tightness
  • Fine dry lines
How to use
Apply to slightly damp skin, morning and night, then seal with a cream.
Mixing
Pairs with almost everything. Always follow with a moisturiser.

Barrier repair

Ceramides

Ceramides are the fats that hold your skin barrier together. Sun, hot showers and strong actives wear them down, which is when skin starts stinging and flaking. Topping them up makes skin calmer and less reactive.

  • Dry skin
  • Damaged barrier
  • Sensitive skin
  • Eczema-prone skin
How to use
Look for them in cleansers and moisturisers, twice a day.
Mixing
Great alongside retinol or acids, because they cushion the irritation.

Cica

Centella asiatica

Centella, or cica, is the Korean go-to for skin that is red, irritated or recovering from breakouts. It soothes quickly and helps skin repair, which makes it a good partner for stronger treatments.

  • Redness
  • Irritation
  • Breakouts
  • Sensitive skin
How to use
Use morning and night in a toner, ampoule or cream.
Mixing
Pairs well with niacinamide, retinol and exfoliating acids.

Beauty of Joseon Revive Eye Serum : Ginseng + Retinal — Eye care | DAZRO UAE
Vitamin A

Retinol and retinal

Retinoids speed up skin renewal. Over a few months they soften fine lines, smooth texture and help with breakouts. They are powerful, so the trick is to go slowly and never skip sunscreen the next morning.

  • Fine lines
  • Rough texture
  • Breakouts
  • Uneven tone
How to use
Start two or three evenings a week, a pea-sized amount, on dry skin. Build up over a month.
Mixing
Avoid using on the same night as AHA, BHA or vitamin C. Not for use in pregnancy.

Arencia Vitamin C Glow Booster Gel Cream — Serum & ampoule for dryness & dehydration | DAZRO UAE
Brightening antioxidant

Vitamin C

Vitamin C brightens dull skin and fades dark spots over time. Under sunscreen it also adds extra protection against the damage strong UAE sun causes. Keep it closed and away from heat so it does not turn orange.

  • Dullness
  • Dark spots
  • Sun damage
How to use
Use in the morning after cleansing, then sunscreen.
Mixing
Keep away from retinol on the same routine. Works well with vitamin E, ferulic acid and niacinamide.

COSRX AHA BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner — Exfoliator & peel for pores & texture | DAZRO UAE
BHA

Salicylic acid

Salicylic acid dissolves in oil, so it clears the inside of the pore where blackheads and breakouts start. It is the most useful acid for oily, acne-prone skin.

  • Blackheads
  • Breakouts
  • Oily skin
  • Clogged pores
How to use
Use once a day, or every other day to start. A cleanser or a leave-on toner both work.
Mixing
Do not layer with retinol on the same night. Follow with a moisturiser.

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner 240ml — Exfoliator & peel for pores & texture | DAZRO UAE
AHA

Glycolic and lactic acid

AHAs loosen the dead cells sitting on top of the skin, so it looks brighter and feels smoother. Lactic and mandelic acid are gentler; glycolic works faster.

  • Dullness
  • Rough texture
  • Uneven tone
How to use
Two or three evenings a week. Your skin will be more sun-sensitive, so wear SPF daily.
Mixing
Do not use on the same night as retinol. Skip them if your skin is stinging.

Apply after toner, morning and night.
Mixing
Pairs with almost everything, including retinol and acids.

Medicube Age-R Glutathione Glow Capsule Cream 50ml — Moisturiser for dullness & glow | DAZRO UAE

Peptides and collagen

Peptides and PDRN act as messengers that tell skin to repair and firm itself. They are slower than retinol but far gentler, which makes them good for sensitive or mature skin.

  • Loss of firmness
  • Fine lines
  • Tired skin
How to use
Morning and night, after toner.
Mixing
Pairs with everything. A good option alongside or instead of retinol.

Common questions

Which skincare ingredients should I start with?

Keep it simple: a gentle cleanser, a moisturiser with ceramides, and a sunscreen. Then add one active for your main concern, such as niacinamide for oil and marks, or salicylic acid for breakouts. Give each new product two weeks before adding the next.

Can I use niacinamide and vitamin C together?

Yes. The idea that they cancel each other out comes from old studies with very different formulas. If your skin feels warm or flushes, use vitamin C in the morning and niacinamide at night.

What should I not mix with retinol?

Avoid using retinol on the same night as exfoliating acids (glycolic, lactic, salicylic) or vitamin C. Alternate nights instead. Ceramides, hyaluronic acid, centella and peptides are all safe partners.

Which ingredients work best in UAE weather?

Light hydrators such as hyaluronic acid and snail mucin suit humid days, ceramides protect skin in dry air-conditioned rooms, and daily SPF with vitamin C helps against strong sun. Oily skin does well with niacinamide and salicylic acid.

How long until I see results?

Hydrating ingredients work within days. Oil control and calming take two to four weeks. Dark spots, fine lines and texture need 8 to 12 weeks of daily use, plus sunscreen every morning.
