Acne & breakouts

Clear congestion and calm active spots without stripping your barrier.

All 3

Breakouts in the UAE are rarely just about oil. Air-conditioning dries the surface, sunscreen and makeup sit on the skin all day, and humidity outdoors traps sweat against it. Skin over-produces oil to compensate, pores block, and bacteria do the rest. The fix is almost never harsher washing — that damages the barrier and makes oil worse. Look for salicylic acid to clear inside the pore, niacinamide to calm redness, and a light non-comedogenic moisturiser so the skin stops overcompensating.

Dryness

Rebuild the moisture barrier so hydration actually stays in.

All 22

Dryness here is usually barrier damage rather than lack of water. Constant air-conditioning pulls moisture out of the skin all day, and hot showers plus foaming cleansers strip the lipids that hold it in. Drinking more water will not fix it. What works is replacing what has been lost: ceramides and cholesterol to rebuild the barrier, hyaluronic acid to draw water in, and an occlusive layer on top to stop it evaporating. Apply to slightly damp skin.

Pigmentation

Fade dark marks and even skin tone — with the sunscreen that makes it stick.

All 6

Pigmentation is the most common concern we are asked about in the Gulf, and the hardest to treat without patience. Post-inflammatory marks from old spots, melasma triggered by heat and hormones, and sun damage all look similar but behave differently. Vitamin C, alpha arbutin, tranexamic acid and niacinamide all help. But without daily SPF50 reapplied through the day, every actives routine is fighting a losing battle — UV re-triggers the pigment faster than the actives can fade it. Expect eight to twelve weeks.

Dullness

Bring back glow and smooth texture.

All 28

Dullness is usually build-up of dead skin cells plus dehydration, not lack of expensive product. Gentle chemical exfoliation two or three times a week clears the surface so light reflects evenly again. Vitamin C in the morning adds brightness and antioxidant protection. Avoid physical scrubs with rough particles — they cause micro-tears that make texture worse.

Enlarged pores

Refine texture and minimise how visible pores look.

All 3

Pore size is largely genetic and cannot be permanently shrunk — any product claiming otherwise is overselling. What you can change is how visible they are. Pores look larger when filled with oil and dead skin, and when the skin around them has lost firmness. Salicylic acid keeps them clear, niacinamide reduces oil, and retinoids improve the surrounding texture over months.
